BHP staff member takes on 100 mile cycling challenge to raise funds for British Heart Foundation

Mark Drury, Head of Property Services at Brent Housing Partnership (BHP) is set to don some lycra and a very stylish cycling helmet to take part in the Prudential Ride London 100 mile bike ride on 30 July to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF). His target is to raise £700 and is asking for support from the community to reach his goal and help save someone’s life.

This incredible challenge has been sparked by personal tragedy for Mark who sadly lost his father John Drury and his brother Adam Drury (who was only 25) to heart disease, and is taking part in this event in their memory.

Mark said: “The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. Twenty four pounds could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.”
Please donate online by visiting Mark’s Just Giving page:

Just Giving sends your donation straight to the BHF and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more.
